Logline:
Three Cthulhu's Witnesses, distraught by rejection and their lack of success in spreading the word of Cthulhu, try to summon the elder god in an attempt to show the world the truth of his existence but instead end up on the receiving end of his unholiness.

Booty Call of Cthulhu is a follow up to John Hidalgo's 2013 short film Cthulhu's Witnesses (See: IMDB listing or watch:Cthulhu's Witnesses on Youtube) and will produced through Rōnin Creative Media in the Spring of 2015. It will be part of a larger feature film project currently called Cthulhu Awakened that will be filmed of the next two years.

We will be looking for actors for the following parts:

Anne - 20s, A Cthulhu's Witness. Cute, Nerdy, Smart
Catherine - 30s or 40s, Anne's mom, also a Cthulhu's Witness, A more seasoned version of Anne.
Neighbors - Any adult age, gender or ethnicity

The parts of Evan, Paul and Lance have already been cast.

If you wish to audition for Anne, if you can, please dress like a Cthulhu's Witness (see image at http://answersinnecronomicon.com/cwposter2a.jpg). This is not a requirement but it would be helpful.

If you auditioning for Anne or Catherine, please note that you are auditioning for both the short film and the feature film.

For everyone who is auditioning, please bring a spoon. It does not matter what kind of spoon. In a pinch even a spork will do. If you absolutely cannot bring a spoon, please contact the director ahead of time to make alternative arrangements. The use of the spoon will be explained at the audition.

Audition Format:
The audition will be primarily readings of scenes from the script with another person.

Rōnin Creative Media to Produce "Booty Call of Cthulhu"

Three Cthulhu's Witnesses, distraught by rejection and their lack of success in spreading the word of Cthulhu, try to summon the elder god in an attempt to show the world the truth of his existence but instead end up on the receiving end of his unholiness.

Booty Call of Cthulhu is a follow up to John Hidalgo's 2013 short film Cthulhu's Witnesses (See: IMDB listing or Watch:Cthulhu's WitnessesYoutube) and will produced through Rōnin Creative Media this Fall.

The story follows Anne, Paul and Lance who go door to door trying to spread the word about Cthulhu but repeatedly have doors slammed in their faces. Realizing that they will need something really big to show the world that Cthulhu really exists, and thereby convert everyone to Cthulhuism, they set about conjuring the elder god. Unfortunately, they do not heed the old adage "don't call up what you cannot put down" and their fate takes an unholy turn.

An IndieGoGo campaign for Booty Call of Cthulhu will start this summer in order to have funds available in time for shooting in September 2014. The estimated completion time is December 2014.
